- March to October
- Once again the Ayrshire branch are offering holidays at Haggerston Castle in their fully accessible caravan from March to October. There has been a slight increase in price and holidays now cost £280.00 per week throughout the season. - 'Teaching reading to teach talking' workshops for parents
- Saturday 26 April and Saturday 17 May 2008
- These workshops are most suitable for parents of children aged between three and seven years. The day will cover an introduction to the approach, practical help to create resources and planning how to get started with your child. There are 10 places available at each event. Unfortunately we are unable to provide creche facilities at these events.

- 'Let's Talk' Roadshow: Aberdeen

- Express by Holiday Inn, Chapel Street, Aberdeen, 10am until 3pm.
- This is the first of three training and consultation events for our young people and adult members with Down's syndrome. This fun-packed event will use a variety of games and activities to help people to have their say.
- The morning session looks at the work of the Training Team and helps people to tell their story and speak out. The afternoon is spent finding out what people want from the organisation, what work needs to happen in the future and how people with Down's syndrome can be involved.
