AIME is currently in its first phase of development. A small number of people with Down’s syndrome are working together with us and the first employment partners to help us shape the programme and ensure it is sustainable going forward.

During this first phase, working with the first group of people and employers, we will provide work-readiness training, help identify most suitable types of work and pair potential employees with a work buddy who will help them navigate the new job.

The first employers on board are:

  • Hilton Glasgow
  • Kaefer
  • The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, Edinburgh ZOO
  • Securigroup

If you are an employer interested in inclusive employment and would like to find out more about the programme contact Jo Davidson to find out more.

If you would like a job, we are here to help you to find one.

We will meet with you to find out what you are really good at and what you might need some help with. You will meet with our Training and Mentor Worker who will help you to learn what you need to go into a new job.

We work with different employers and can help you to find a job in a place where you really want to work.

If you have a question or want to know more, just ask us.
