The Choir 21 team is very excited to let you know about our upcoming CD single launch and performance in celebration of World Down’s Syndrome Day 2026! Last month some members of the choir were lucky enough to go into a recording studio in Glasgow to record their version of Young at Heart, with Ken McCluskey from the Bluebells. The song may have topped the charts before many of the choir members were even born, but over the last couple of years we have given the song a new lease of life and Choir 21 has performed with members of The Bluebells at various events including, the Scottish Parliament, the Chelsea Flower Show in London and the Paisley Book Festival. Having the opportunity to record their version of this uplifting song that has become their unofficial anthem, and to star in the accompanying video being released on World Down’s Syndrome Day, has been the icing on the cake!
We would love as many friends, members and supporters of DSS as possible to come along and celebrate with us on World Down’s Syndrome Day, Saturday 21st March in Glasgow. Tickets are available to purchase on our website Below. Please see further event details below.
