Entries for the 2025 Edinburgh Marathon Festival are now open!

Starting in the historic Scottish capital, this route boasts the best of elegant city and stunning coastline. Known to be one of the UK’s fastest marathons!

Where: Holyrood Park, Edinburgh

Registration fee: £70 deposit

Minimum fundraising target: Full Marathon – £500, Half Marathon – £250

The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon follows a spectacular point-to-point route alongside world famous Loch Ness, starting in an atmospheric moorland setting and continues through stunning Highland scenery, taking runners along the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, across the River Ness, to finish in Inverness, the capital city of the Highlands.

We are able to offer a reduced entry fee of £35 for our fundraiser (full price £65).

We are asking our runners to raise a minimum of £350.

Entries for the 2025 Edinburgh Marathon Festival are now open! Established in 2003, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland’s largest mass-participation running event, with nine different race distances over two days. There’s something for everyone!

We are delighted to be able to provide a free charity place for anyone wishing to run in the EMF in aid of Down’s Syndrome Scotland. We ask that those taking part in the following events raise a minimum amount through sponsorship.
